SUPERVISION & MENTORSHIP
Looking for supervision or mentorship? Leah offers supervision for BSW's and MSW's while in their programs and field placements. Leah also offers supervision for MSW graduates working towards licensure. Leah's supervision approach is collaborative, and she is a fierce advocate for her students and emerging professionals. Along with weekly supervision, Leah offers a supportive, trauma-informed space for Social Work students so they are able to take care of themselves and integrate community care and self-care into their future practice.
Supervision fees are all negotiable and Leah is committed to offering affordable supervision services. Reach out and we will talk about what is feasible for you and your budget!

Request a workshop! Each workshop is made to be interactive and is shaped by the audience's request for content. Leah is a collaborator through and through, and wants to ensure that the materials being presented are the best fit for your population. If you do not have specific content you need customized, Leah offers specific content on various social justice issues that are already created and ready to go. Additionally, every workshop is followed by a survey to continuously track audience engagement and learning outcomes.

WORKSHOPS & DESCRIPTIONS

INTRODUCTION TO GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE
OVERVIEW:
This is an introductory workshop about gender-based violence, a term that encompasses education around sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, and much more. Whether this is your first time learning about these topics, or your tenth, you'll learn something new in this workshop that will become a tangible tool in your professional and personal life.
AUDIENCE:
If you work in higher education, athletics, policy, macro & micro social work, direct services, health care, k-12 in any capacity; this is for you!
RUN TIME:
1 hour, but can be customized to a 2 hour session.

SUPPORTING LGBTQIA+ VICTIM/SURVIVORS
OVERVIEW:
Take your allyship and put it to tangible use! This workshop delves into policy and practice to show you how to support an LGBTQIA+ person experiencing gender-based violence. This workshop will show evidence of the disproportionate rates of gender-based violence that impacts LGBTQIA+ folks and create a space for future practices.
AUDIENCE:
This is for anyone and everyone! Whether you've been in the field for 10 years or are new to the topic, this workshop is for you!
RUN TIME:
1 hour, but can be customized to a 1.5 hour session.

TITLE IX & MANDATORY REPORTING
OVERVIEW:
Title IX is presented as a complex policy that is for women in sports... but it is so much more than that. Build on your Title IX knowledge, or create a foundation of knowledge, with a scenario-guided presentation on Title IX, mandated reporting, and how to make sure your policies are humanized and ready to serve your community.
AUDIENCE:
Title IX impacts more of us than we realize! If you work in higher ed, athletics, policy, macro & micro social work, health care, k-12 in any capacity; this is for you!

1 hour, but can be customized to a 1.5-2 hour session.

BUILDING
TRAUMA-INFORMED SPACES
OVERVIEW: Whether you think you know a survivor or not, you do. Whether you think you work with someone going through a crisis or not, you work with them everyday. What can we do to support someone without demanding their story? The first place to start is by building a trauma-informed space, which this workshop will give you the foundational knowledge needed to do this. This workshop gives communities a space to create a safer and more trauma-informed setting for all.
AUDIENCE: This is for any and all communities; professional or personal!
RUN TIME: 1.5 hours, but can be customized to a 2 hour session.

SUPPORTING VICTIM/SURVIVORS
OVERVIEW: We will never fully know what is going on in someone's mind, or what they need to heal. What we can do is prepare ourselves by working on how we show up for each other and how we support our community. This workshop presents introductory information on what happens when someone is impacted by gender-based violence and what you can do to support that person. The key to support is meeting people where they are at. This workshop is made by and for victim/survivors of gender-based violence.
AUDIENCE: This workshop is for everyone!
